Continuing Professional Development

Our courses offer bodyshop technicians, vehicle damage assessors (VDAs) and insurance engineers the opportunity to obtain and maintain their IMI and IAEA accreditations and keep up-to-date with emerging technologies (such as ADAS and high voltage vehicles) through our own Thatcham Research-certified courses.

We also work with organisations outside the bodyshop repair sector who may have introduced electric and hybrid vehicles to their fleets or are looking for supplementary restraint systems (SRS) training as part of a bespoke programme. And our paint courses are not just aimed at those working on vehicles; they are also suitable for other industries looking to achieve a high specification paint finish on products.

"The training is delivered in a modern, well equipped purpose build facility with the right mix of classroom and workshop learning. The trainers are enthusiastic and engaging, and their paint knowledge is second to none! They’re able to explain and answer questions clearly and concisely in a way people understand regardless of skill and experience. I would thoroughly recommend Thatcham’s paint training courses if you’re interested in best practice and want to receive training from the best in the industry. "
