Repair sector staff looking to undertake this accreditation should be working in the automotive industry and must have relevant experience.

Who should attend?

Senior panel technicians holding a full accreditation who require reaccreditation to comply with BS10125.

What will I learn?

This module is to assess the competence of the knowledge, skills and ability in determining if a technician is able to realign and rectify misalignment of a vehicle/bodyshell. This will include ensuring that the vehicle is securely mounted on an alignment jig, whilst following the correct procedure, accurately measuring the alignment and comparing measurements against vehicle manufacturers’ data. If the measurement indicates that the vehicle is misaligned, the technician will be required to carry out the rectification using approved tools and equipment to within the correct tolerance(s).

Delegates are prepared for the practical test, allowing the instructor to gauge the delegates’ competency, knowledge and understanding of Vehicle alignment.
