Course Prerequisites

Repair sector staff looking to undertake this accreditation should be working in the automotive industry and must have relevant experience.

Who should attend?

Panel technicians not currently in possession of a senior IMI accreditation wanting to take the full assessment. A minimum of three years experience is required to ensure delegate is familiar with the skills, knowledge and techniques required to repair and replace body components, including vehicle alignment to manufacturer specifications.

A valid copy of the delegate’s AOM009 welding certificate is required on registration.

What will I learn?

Delegates gain an understanding of the necessary skills and knowledge of repair operations, and what type of tools could be required to facilitate the integrity of repair.

The course provides awareness of supporting IMI documents/Methods that will advise repair procedures and the possible equipment for supporting a repair process.

Content Includes

Delegates prepare for the practical tests allowing the instructor to gauge the delegates’ competency, knowledge and understanding of Panel related subjects.
