IAEA members who hold a current IAEA practical exam that expires in the next 12-months and wish to maintain their proof of competence to comply with the needs of BS10125.

What will I learn?
During the two day course, delegates will be refreshed on:
- Vehicle condition appraisal and valuation
- Accident damage assessment using methods
- Costing repairs using Audatex or Thatcham Research escribe
- Salvage categorisation
- Making recommendations to principle
- Vehicle technology refresher
Content Includes
Delegates will be required to complete an underpinning knowledge test and a practical assessment on:
- Assessing pre-accident condition, allowing for old damage
- Vehicle safety system checks (seat belts SRS etc.)
- Vehicle valuation using trade guides
- Methods bases accident damage assessment
- Calculation of accident damage costs using Audatex or Thatcham Research escribe
- Refresher on vehicle technology and ABI code of salvage
- IAEA practical examination (physical vehicle inspection)
- IAEA under pinning knowledge assessment
Practical Elements
Delegates will be required to complete an underpinning knowledge test and a practical assessment on:
