Course Prerequisites

The senior technician should be working in the accident repair sector.  Ensure they are familiar with the skills, knowledge and techniques required to  return vehicle systems back to manufacturer specification.

Repair sector staff across all disciplines who have relevant experience to ensure familiarity with the skills, knowledge and techniques required to carry out four-wheel alignment.

What will I learn?

The provides delegates with the necessary knowledge and an awareness of Four-Wheel Alignment for undertaking this assessed outcome.

Content Includes

This module is to assess the competence of the candidate’s knowledge, skill and ability to check a vehicle’s four-wheel alignment / geometry.

This will include ensuring that the vehicle is initially set up to the correct specifications, and then using industry recognised wheel alignment equipment to record the readings obtained from the vehicle and compare them against the vehicle manufacturer data.

The candidate will be required to reset the vehicle’s wheel alignment to the vehicle manufacturer’s specification.
