Who should attend?

Repair sector staff wanting to progress into vehicle damage assessing (VDA) or those with little experience in the practice of vehicle damage assessing using researched or vehicle manufacturer methods.

What will I learn?

On day one delegates learn about escribe, the system features for new panel replacements and information to assist decision makers in the vehicle repair sector.

Day two provides delegates with a logical approach to vehicle condition and damage appraisal ensuring integrity of a written repair specification, with an insight into realistic opinion time recording.

Day one is a mandatory pre-requisite for day two.

Content Includes

Origins of escribe, escribe navigation, mechanical data, methods direct, paint cost calculator, methods style (current and legacy) repair recommendations and TIM within Audatex.

What is an estimate? Methods-based appraisals ensuring NCAP rating is retained, component identification, insurance principles, negotiation and customer expectations managed, VDA equipment and terminology, approach to repair specification, definition of the M.E.T., panel and paint operations and can you? v’s should you repair?

Practical Elements

Delegates carry out an initial damage appraisal including opinion times and paint costs, and, once the necessary understanding is obtained, carry out a condition and damage appraisal ensuring integrity of repairs.
