Chief Executive Officer
Jonathan joined in January 2019, and has a wealth of senior management and leadership skills from across the insurance, automotive and financial sectors, internationally and in the UK. His focus is to guide Insurer Members through vehicle safety, repair and security in a period of exponential technological advancement in connectivity and future automated driving capabilities, as well as complex vehicle materials and structures.
Director of Insurance Research
Matthew’s role involves liaison with member insurers, vehicle manufacturers, legislators and safety bodies with a view to encouraging safer vehicle designs whilst controlling insurance costs.
Chief Technical Officer
Richard joined Thatcham from Williams Advanced Engineering in 2017, bringing 20 years’ experience delivering cutting-edge programmes across a variety of sectors. He is responsible for all of the organisation’s engineering functions, supporting research into crash & safety, physical & cyber security, and repair technologies.
Chief Revenue Officer
Miller joined in September 2020, with a focus on revenue generation and the development of strategic partnerships to support our increasingly ambitious research agenda. Miller joins us from HORIBA MIRA where he was Chief Commercial Officer.
Director of Finance and Company Secretary
Ruth joined Thatcham in 2009, she is responsible for the Company’s support services including Finance, HR, Legal, Risk and Facilities. She has had previous experience working on the Boards of plc, AIM listed and private companies, and is a chartered accountant, having trained with KPMG in Bristol.
Chief Digital Officer
Dan has over 20 years’ experience working in IT, Software and Data Development. His role reflects the strategic importance of Digital Products, InfoSec and Data in Thatcham Research’s operational, Member and Commercial strategies. He specialises in reducing complexity whilst improving efficiency by simplifying technology and services.
Global Product Director
Neale joined Thatcham Research in July 2011 and brought with him many years of managerial experience from across the financial services and automotive sectors. He has led the development of a new strategy focused increasingly on active safety system standards and testing, as a means of reducing insurer member claims exposure. He has since taken the role of Global Product Director, responsible for the product and sales development for the organisation, including market leading repair data in both domestic and international markets and Thatcham Research’s training Academy.
