May 2009 Framework Policy Document BSI's new Framework Policy Document confirms wide ranging commitments to the repair and insurance industry on the implementation of PAS125 and the Inspection regime through the Kitemark.

February 2008 Thatcham BSI Kitemark® is one year old
The Thatcham BSI Kitemark® for Vehicle Body Repair is celebrating its first birthday. Setting out rigorous standards for the crash repair process, including the methods and materials used by competent technicians, 51 bodyshops have already received the Kitemark®, with another 256 going through the application stage.

November 2007 Kitemark Approved Repairers You can now search for your nearest Kitemark approved repairers via the link on your left or by clicking here September 2007 Outstanding Achievement Award Congratulations to Thatcham's Chief Operating Officer, Jason Moseley, who received the 'Outstanding Achievement' Award at Bodyshop Magazine's 11th Annual Awards dinner held in Birmingham in Sepetember. The citation recognised Jason's pivotal roll in the creation, publication and introduction of the Thatcham BSI Kitemark and his tireless work over the past year to harness the passion displayed by our industry for the implementation of a quality crash repair standard. Thatcham is now the only company to have received 2 Outstanding Achievement Awards. The Kitemark scheme itself was also announced as a runner-up in the Industry Excellence award category at the same event. July 2007 Industry Excellence Award for Kitemark Scheme Thatcham scooped the 'Industry Excellence' award in last night's high profile Motor Trader Awards in London. The award is recognition of the Thatcham/BSI Kitemark scheme which stood out amongst the judges as a mould breaking and sustainable initaitive to help Motor Traders conduct their business. Chief Operating Officer at Thatcham, Jason Moseley, said "The success of this scheme is undoubtedly its practical relevance in an industry keen to improve its image and reconfirm the quality of its work. Increasing complexity in vehicle body design has increased the training needs and competency levels for all involved in body repairs and this technical standard, applicable directly to activity on the workshop floor, benefits all those who demand a safe, quality service from insurers to motorists. May 2007Kitemark Features at Triple focus Following the announcement of the dates for Thatchams Triple Focus event (20th & 21st June), it has now also been confirmed that the Kitemark will feature heavily across the two days. As well as a seminar on current progress, representatives on the Thatcham stand will be there to answer any of your questions. February 2007 Insurer's Hail Kitemark Scheme Pierre Lefevre, Chairman Thatcham Board and CEO Groupama, hailed the Kitemark scheme as a major contribution to road safety. "Insurance is all about reducing risk," said Pierre, "this Kitemark scheme does just that. It will benefit all sides of the crash repair process - and thus ultimately the motorist, their passengers and pedestrians." February 2007Kitemark Launch Event The launch of the Thatcham BSI Kitemark scheme was celebrated today at a specially arranged event in London. Quentin Willson hosted the industry and press briefing and was joined by representatives from BSI and Thatcham who discussed the drivers for the scheme, how it works and the benefits for the crash repair and insurance industry.
