Peter Shaw, Chief Executive

With a broad background in motoring services, motor insurance and more recently in the UK energy sector, Peter has considerable experience and expertise in managing large sales, marketing and operations functions.

Andrew Miller, Chief Technical Officer

An Engineering background with over 25 years’ experience in design and development, Andrew leads Thatcham’s work in three areas: safety and crash performance, repair technologies and vehicle security.

Matthew Avery
Matthew Avery, Director of Insurance Research

Matthew’s role involves liaison with member insurers, vehicle manufacturers, legislators and safety bodies with a view to encouraging safer vehicle designs whilst controlling insurance costs.
