Vacancies

If you are interested in working for Thatcham, the UK's centre of excellence for automotive research, then we would like to hear from you.

Staff enjoy an excellent working environment and we are currently working to achieve the Investors in People standard. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package. This includes a non-contributory stakeholder pension scheme, life assurance and a permanent health insurance scheme.

You can search here to see what jobs we currently have available. If there is nothing suitable at the moment, then please submit your CV on a speculative basis to the Human Resources department. We will hold your details on file for six months.

Recruitment Process

Most of our vacancies are advertised on this site and you can apply via email to the Human Resources Department. Once you have applied, you will receive an email confirming receipt of your application.

All recruitment is dealt with by our Human Resources department and will be handled professionally and fairly, ensuring adherence to Equal Opportunities legislation.

Within two weeks of the closing date, you will be contacted to confirm whether or not you have been short-listed. If you are invited to attend an interview, we will also include a phone number for you to call for further assistance or to let us know if you have any special needs or requirements.

Following your interview, you will receive news on your application shortly afterwards. If successful, you will be sent an offer letter and contract of employment.

If you are unsuccessful, as long as you have given your permission, we will hold your details on file for a further six months and you will automatically be considered for any future vacancies which may suit your skills and experience.
